• Sensitive sensor probe: The high thermal conductivity metal probe is used to display the current temperature accurately, and It will cut off the power immediately after reaching the temperature. You can safely track the temperature of the roots of your plants. Do not immerse the controller or probe in water.
• The Digital Heat Mat is designed to achieve the desired heat temperature within 5 hours. If it takes longer than 5 hours, or if the mat runs longer than 5 hours, desired temperatures are not reached. To conserve power and increase the mat’s effectiveness, move the mat to a more insulated surface. You can also add a humidity dome to cover the seedling tray, which aids heat retention.
• WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE THE CONTROLLER IN WATER.
• If the probe’s temperature reaches 108°F, the automatic safety shut-off is activated.
• If you want to use your thermostat to control air temperature, we’ve included a suction cup so the probe can be mounted outside the rooting area. Clip the suction cup over the probe and apply it to the desired location. It may help to moisten the suction cup before sticking it.
